TRIBUNAL SERIES

The Tribunal series is about those who judge. The Vicar heads the tribunal. These portraits were painted from imagination with no visual references. After each portrait was painted, intuition called forth the name. The series was initially inspired by Carl Dreyer’s 1928 film The Passion of Joan of Arc with Richard Einhorn’s oratorio Voices of Light. Three more portraits will complete the series.
